The Neuro Film Series - Discover science at the movies

March 25 - Watch a real "Fantastic Voyage" (1966), with interventional neuroradiologist Donatella Tampieri. A Cold War science fiction brain twisting cult classic starring Stephen Boyd, Arthur Kennedy and Raquel Welch. The Neuro's director of interventional neuroradiology Donatella Tampieri will host and talk about modern techniques that allow us to navigate the blood vessels in the brain to correct challenging vascular problems.

Join an eye opening discussion of Stalag 17 (1953) with David Colman on April 15. A fabulous story starring William Holden, set in a German prisoner of war camp where everybody thinks they know who is squealing to the Gestapo. Here's a cool bit of trivia - a prisoner of the real Stalag 17 later became a research fellow at The Neuro. David Colman, Director of the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital will lead the post-film discussion.

Neuro Movie Nights are free and snacks can be purchased.
