SEEKING HEALTHY MIDDLE-AGED VOLUNTEERS

Participation includes 1 visit to the laboratory of  Dr. Natasha Rajah at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute (3.5 hrs). 

Participants will be required to perform memory tasks on a computer and complete paper - and -pencil cognitive tasks. 

Participants will be reimbursed for their time and travel.

INCLUSION CRITERIA:

·        Age: 40-55 years old

·        Right handed

·        Bilingual

·        No history of a major head injury causing a loss of consciousness > 1 min

·        No history of mental health diagnosis 

·        No history of stroke

Bénévoles d'âge moyen et en santé recherchés

 La participation à cette étude comprend 1 visite dans le laboratoire du Dr Rajah à L'Institut universitaire en santé mentale Douglas (3.5 heures). Les participants accompliront des tâches de mémoire sur l'ordinateur et devront remplir des questionnaires cognitifs sur papier. Une compensation leur sera offerte.

CRITÈRES D'INCLUSION:

·       Âge: 40-55 ans

·       Droitier

·       Bilingue

·       Aucune antécédant de blessure à la tête importante ayant causé une perte de conscience > 1 min

·       Aucun antécédant de troubles mentaux

·        Aucun antécédant d'accident vasculaire cérébral
