The Neuro Holiday Matinees
Come enjoy the festive season at the Neuro holiday matinees showing of two classics. Miracle on 34th Street will show on Friday, December 10 from 12:15 - 2:00 pm. It's a Wonderful Life will be featured on December 17 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm.
Miracle on 34th Street 1947 starring Maureen O'Hara <http://www.bookrags.com/Maureen_O%27Hara> , John Payne <http://www.bookrags.com/John_Payne_%28actor%29> , Natalie Wood <http://www.bookrags.com/Natalie_Wood> and Edmund Gwenn <http://www.bookrags.com/Edmund_Gwenn> . It is the story of what takes place in New York City <http://www.bookrags.com/New_York_City> following Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade <http://www.bookrags.com/Macy%27s_Thanksgiving_Day_Parade> , as people are left wondering whether or not a department store Santa <http://www.bookrags.com/Santa_Claus> might be the real thing. It's also about the importance of childhood wonder, trust, and standing up for what you believe.
It's A Wonderful Life 1946 is one of the most popular and heartwarming films ever made by director Frank Capra. It's a dark, bittersweet post-war tale of a savings-and-loan manager who struggles against a greedy banker and his own self-doubting nature in a small town. Earnest do-gooder George Bailey (James Stewart) recognizes his life as wonderful and truly rich only after suffering many hardships, mishaps and fateful trials.
This film will be shown with French sub-titles.
Both films will be shown in the Jeanne Timmins auditorium (3801 University Street). The movies are free and open to all. Snacks may be purchased.
