The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston is looking
for an assistant professor level, MR PhD research scientist. As you
may know, I recently took over as Chair of Radiology at UTMB. We have
2 new wide bore MR systems, one 1.5 T (Siemens Espree) and one 3 T
(Siemens Verio). Two additional older generation MR systems are
scheduled to be replaced within the next 6 months, with the latest 1.5
and 3 T wide bore systems (with advanced imaging capabilities, and
funding earmarked for upgrading the 3 T to a multichannel transmit
system). I also have a rather large startup fund available for this
position. I would very much appreciate it if you would forward this
note to any bright promising individuals who might be interested in
such a position, including individuals currently at the post-doc level
or finishing their PhD program. Best regards, Val.
