This Friday, April 16th at 1:00 p.m., Dr. Peter Hagoort (Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at the Radboud University Nijmegen, director of the Donders Institute for Cognition, Brain and Behaviour, Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging and director of the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics) will present a Distinguished Lecture entitled "Beyond the Language Given: Language Processing from an Embrained Perspective" in Room 501 of the Goodman Cancer Research Centre, 1160 Pine Ave West. At the Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging he is the leader of the research group Neurocognition of Language. This group researches the way complex language skills such as reading, listening and speaking are fixed in the human brain.
