Job opening: Assistant Professor

The Instituto de Neurobiología-UNAM in Querétaro, Mexico, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Developmental Neurobiology and Neurophysiology. We seek scientists using modern and novel experimental approaches whose research focuses on themes including, but not limited to, one or more of the following areas: Development of the Nervous System, Connectivity, Plasticity, Chronobiology, Aging, Neurodegeneration, and Stem Cells. The successful applicant will be expected to establish a strong, externally funded research program, to engage in intramural collaborative projects, to supervise graduate students, and to teach basic and advanced courses in the area of Neurobiology.
