Killam Lecture
It is a great pleasure for me to invite you to come hear Dr. Sheena Josselyn, our Killam speaker for today. Her talk is " Making and erasing fear memories. Dr. Josselyn is a senior scientist at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto and an associate professor in the Dept. Physiology at the University of Toronto. She has made important advances in understanding how neurons are chosen to participate in memories and has recently shown for the first time, that neurons that are activated during learning also participate in the memory trace. She uses sophisticated mouse genetics to gain a deeper understanding of learning and memory. Please come for a fascinating talk.
