Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to invite you to the Denis Melançon Neuroradiology Lecture, which will be held on October 1, 2009 at the Montreal Neurological Hospital and Institute.
This annual lecture was established to honor Dr Melançon for his dedication to patient care and his commitment to training the next generation of neuroradiologists. Friends and colleagues of Dr. Melançon, medical professionals, students and others are welcome to attend this event.
The focus this year will be on the diagnosis and treatment of migraine and AVM with presentations by experts from MNI and McGill starting at 1:15 pm. Dr. Karel Terbrugge, David Braley & Nancy Gordon Chair in Interventional Neuroradiology; Professor, Radiology & Surgery; Head, Division of Neuroradiology, University of Toronto, Toronto Western Hospital, will deliver the Melançon Lecture at 4:15 pm. His talk will be "BAVMs, correlation of angioarchitecture and clinical findings with implications for treatment". Details of the day are shown in the attached program.
"For this course, we have requested Continuing Medical Education study credits from McGill University, Division of Continuing Medical Education ("CME") which sponsors continuing medical education for physicians.
The centre for CME McGill University, is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS), and through a reciprocal agreement with the (CACMS) may award AMA PRA category 1 credits in the United States".
Pending final approval medical professionals may be able to receive CMS credit for attending this event.
