POSTDOCTORAL POSITION - Applications are invited for a postdoc position
funded by an ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche) grant on the
functional significance of spontaneous human brain activity that will be
supervised by Andreas Kleinschmidt . The team is part of INSERM's
'Cognitive Neuroimaging Unit' ( http://www.unicog.org
<http://www.unicog.org/> , director : Stanislas Dehaene) at NeuroSpin
(director : Denis LeBihan) in the greater Paris region. NeuroSpin is a
newly opened outstanding interdisciplinary research environment that
houses several research laboratories and combines expertise in cognitive
neuroscience and neuropsychology, electrophysiology, high field MR
imaging and imaging data analysis. The postdoc will conduct fMRI studies
at 3 and 7 T and eventually MEG experiments (installation in 2008) to
study the relation between ongoing and evoked activity in sensory brain
systems. Applicants should have a PhD degree in Neuroscience,
Psychology, or related areas. Pr!
ior experience with skills in fMRI and/or MEG, imaging data analysis and
programming would be advantageous. Salary will be commensurate with
experience within the remuneration grid of the French public research
organisations. The position is funded for maximally 3 years, starting in
