Dear all:

I am delighted to announce that Dr. Arturo Alvarez-Buylla will be our
next Killam Speaker on October 9th.

Dr. Alvarez-Buylla comes from UCSF and is generally regarded as a world
authority on the study of adult neural stem cells. He is  one of the
pioneers in this field of research and his work has led to many seminal
discoveries. Below is a selected list of some of the most recent
publications from his lab.

I am delighted that Arturo accepted my invitation to come to the MNI as
a Killam spaker. I am truly looking forward to his visit, which should
be of great interest to many of us.
