FORWARDING ON BEHALF OF PROF. JORGE ARMONY. JENNIFER

----------------------
The graduate course "Methods in Neuroimaging" (NEU606) will be offered
again this Fall term through the Graduate Program in Neurological
Sciences.
This course will focus on fMRI experimental design and data analysis.
The emphasis will be on the underlying conceptual and statistical issues
(i.e., there will be a fair amount of math involved), but concrete
applications using SPM and fmristat will also be covered.

In order to maximize discussions and interactions among participants,
the enrollment will be limited to 12 students. Priority will be given to
those students with little or no experience with fMRI analysis, but who
are already using, or about to use, this technique in their M.Sc. or
Ph.D.
research project. Early official registration is strongly encouraged, as
there will likely be no room for auditing.

Classes will take place on Thursdays 1-4 PM at the Douglas Hospital
(Verdun). Formal evaluation will be based on weekly take-home
assignments, class participation and a final project.

If you are interested in taking this course, please email the Instructor
(jorge.armony at mcgill.ca) for approval, using a university address (i.e.,
no hotmail, gmail, etc). Please include your current position (program,
year, supervisor), your experience (if any) with fMRI, and a very brief
description of your research project. For any other registration-related
questions or problems, please contact the graduate office
(gpns at mcgill.ca). The course is open to graduate students from other
universities.
