Andreas Meyer-Lindenberg is Co-Director of the Neuroimaging Core
Facility, of the Genes, Cognition and Psychosis Program at the National
Institute of Mental Health. Andreas has degrees in medicine and
mathematics, and is trained as a neurologist and psychiatrist. His main
interest is the combination of genetics and functional neuroimaging for
the understanding of the effect of genes on normal and pathological
brain function. He has published an impressive number of papers in high
impact journals in the last ten years, including seven in Nature
Neuroscience. His work is extremely creative and broad ranging and makes
use of many different and cutting edge imaging techniques. For more
