[BIC-announce] Volunteers needed

Hi,
I am currently recruiting healthy male and female volunteers to
participate in a study using image-guided repetitive transcranial magnetic
stimulation to better understand the functioning of the supplementary
motor area during speaking. In order to qualify for the study,
participants must be right-handed native speakers of French or English.
Participants who have a high resolution MRI of their brain are preferred.
In addition, the following are considered contraindications for TMS
studies:

1)	Pacemaker
2)	Aneurysm Clip
3)	Heart/Vascular Clip
4)	Prosthetic Valve
5)	Metal Prosthesis
6)	Pregnancy
7)	Personal and/or family history of epilepsy
8)	Use of psychopharmacological agents:
	Antipsychotic drugs (neuroleptics and major tranquilizers);
	Antidepressant drugs;
	Antianxiety drugs (anxiolytic sedatives);
	Antimaniac drugs (lithium).
9)	Under 18 years old.

You will not be able to participate in the study if any of these
conditions apply to you.

The study, which was approved by the McGill Faculty of Medicine
Institutional Review Board (FWA:000004545), will take place at the Center
for Research on Language, Mind and the Brain, located on  3640 rue de la
Montagne. The study takes approximately 2-3 hours and participants will be
compensated at the rate of 25$ per hour.
