If there is anyone in the synaptogenesis field who does not need an
introduction, it is Josh Sanes. Josh is currently in Harvard's
Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology and Director of the Paul J.
Finnegan Family Center for Brain Science. Josh has made, and continues
to make, breakthrough contributions to our understanding of
synaptogenesis. Again and again, he has used the latest methods to
provide remarkable new insight into the cellular and molecular
mechanisms of synapse formation. The title of his Killam seminar is
"Genetic analysis of synapse formation in mutant and fluorescent mice".
He is an excellent scientist and a clear and well-organized speaker and
those who join us at the seminar on Tuesday Nov 28 at 4:00 pm in the de
Grandpre Communications Centre are guaranteed to learn something
worthwhile.
