Dear colleagues,

This week's Killam Seminar speaker is Dr. David Ginty from the Department of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. David is also an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Over the past ten years, David has made important contributions to our understanding of several key processes of neurodevelopment, including neuronal survival and axonal guidance. He will be presenting some of his more recent results related to growth and survival signals in the development of the peripheral nervous system.

David is an engaging speaker and will provide a stimulating seminar. I hope you will join us for his talk on Tuesday May 23rd at 4:00pm in the de Granpré communications centre.

 Sincerely,

J-F Cloutier
