To all Neuro personnel

You are invited to a Town Hall meeting on Thursday April 20th at 12 noon in the Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre regarding the North Wing expansion project. The project planners and architects will be on hand to describe the scope of the building and answer questions about the construction period.

The North Wing will provide much needed space for clinical care and growing programs in brain imaging, multiple sclerosis research and experimental therapeutics, in addition to animal care facilities and a new improved ambulatory entrance and new access from University Street.  

We will provide regular updates to all staff, patients and visitors at the MNI/H and the RVH during the construction period (which is expected to last until October 2007). These will  be available on The Neuro's website (www.mni.mcgill.ca), E-en bref, En-bref the MUHC intranet, as well as on bulletin boards.  In addition, a hotline and e-mail address will be set up to receive comments and questions about the project.

À tous les membres de la faculté et du personnel du Neuro,

Vous êtes invités à un forum de discussion concernant le projet de l'Annexe nord (The North Wing), qui aura lieu le jeudi 20 avril à 12 h à l'Amphithéâtre Jeanne Timmins. Les planificateurs et les architectes du projet seront disponibles afin de décrire l'envergure de celui-ci et pour répondre aux questions relatives à la construction du bâtiment.

L'Annexe nord répondra au grand besoin d'espace pour les soins cliniques et pour les programmes en croissance d'imagerie cérébrale, de recherche sur la sclérose en plaques et de la thérapeutique expérimentale, ainsi que pour les installations hébergeant les animaux de laboratoire. Une entrée ambulatoire améliorée et un nouvel accès sur la rue University sont aussi de prévu.  

Nous allons tenir au courant de façon régulière tous les membres du personnel, les patients et les visiteurs à l'I/HNM et à l'HRV quant au statut des travaux (qui doivent se terminer en octobre 2007). Les messages de mise à jour seront affichés sur le site web du Neuro (www.mni.mcgill.ca), dans la publication E-en-bref et sur l'intranet du CUSM, ainsi qu'aux babillards dans les deux bâtiments. En plus, une ligne téléphonique et une adresse courriel, auxquelles vous pourrez envoyer des commentaires et des questions sur le projet, seront établies.
