Tuesday's Killam Speaker: Dr. Franck Polleux
Title: New Insights Into The Molecular Mechanisms Specifying The
Dendritic Morphology of Cortical Neurons.
4 PM, De Grandpre Communications Centre
Refreshments served at 3:45 PM
Dear Colleagues:
This week's Killam Seminar speaker is Dr. Franck Polleux from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Polleux's laboratory is
interested in the molecular mechanisms patterning connections in the
cerebral cortex and he will be presenting his recent results identifying
molecules involved in the specification of thalamocortical projections
and dendritic morphology of neocortical pyramidal neurons. More
information on his work can be found at
http://www.neuroscience.unc.edu/faculty_homepages/polleux/. Dr. Polleux
is an engaging speaker and I encourage everyone to attend.=20
Best regards,
JF Cloutier=20
