KILLAM SEMINAR - TODAY

Speaker: Hugh Perry, Ph.D.

Professor, University of Southampton

Title: Impact of Systemic Inflammation on Brain Inflammation

Place: de Grandpre Communication Centre

Time: 4:00 pm

----------------------------------------------

The Killam speaker March 1 is Hugh Perry, Professor of Experimental
Neuropathology, University of Southampton, UK. Hugh's major research
interest is in neurologic (mostly neurodegenerative) disease, and the
influence of inflammation on it. His recent reviews in Nature Reviews in
Neuroscience and Current Opinion in Neurology are a good entry point to
his work and thinking, which is clear and direct. His talk on Tuesday
'Impact of systemic inflammation on brain inflammation' promises new
perspectives and food for thought. He is an excellent speaker and I
encourage you all to attend.
