Today's Killam Speaker: Dr. Lindsay Hinck
Title: From repulsion to attraction: a role for receptor trafficking in regulating axon guidance
4 PM, De Grandpre Communications Centre
Refreshments served at 3:45 PM
Dear Colleagues:
Today's Killam speaker is Lindsay Hinck from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Lindsay started her work on netrin and netrin receptors while working as a postdoc in Marc Tessier Lavigne's lab and her work has consistently provided important insights into the receptor-based signaling mechanisms that facilitate the actions of attractive and repulsive cues the developing nervous system.
Lindsay is an excellent speaker and will be sure to provide an stimulating seminar. I hope you will join us for her talk today at 4 PM.
Best regards,
Phil Barker
