EP The EP IRB has been renewed. Sites, please see the LORIS Document Repository for all relevant new consents and renewal documentation. Renewal Docs: (LORIS Doc Repository > EP Modifications > EP CR 2022). Consents: (LORIS Doc Repository > IBIS EP Consents > your site) MCDI Data Correction in LORIS Recently a scoring error was identified with the MCDI in LORIS: Gesture scores on the MCDI for IBIS 1 and 2 where the raw scores did not indicate the actual raw scores. For example, a participant may have skipped 1 item out of 21 total possible items on the MCDI Gestures. On LORIS the score for that participant would show a 0. However, this would have been confusing as some may assume that the participant actually received a 0 out of 21 possible items. The MCDI now includes a message on LORIS indicating "Scores cannot be calculated due to missing items" for both raw and percentiles of the MCDI Gestures for participants that have missing items. Many thanks to Denis, Meghan, and Santiago for handling this issue. The 2022 'Week In Review' email archive has been preserved for all time in the LORIS Doc Repository. A new running archive for 2023 will be started with this week?s email. (LORIS Doc Repository >IBIS Adminstration Documents) Have a nice weekend everyone! New aims have been added where they are seeking to validate the subgroups identified by examining group differences in early brain structure (Aim 2), and later behavioral (school age) outcomes (Aim 3). They have also updated an aim that was previously listed on the original proposal, but that has been subsumed by the Diagnostic Instability workgroup (Aim 4). Since Natasha Marrus is taking over leadership of the Infant DS project, she would like to attend our meetings more regularly, but she has a partial conflict on our current 3rd Tuesday of the month slot. Given this day/time generally seems to be the best for everyone, I'd like to see if switching it to a different week of the month would still be able to accommodate everyone. Please respond with your availability with the link below. View/vote in browser Also, we have another research opportunity via our friends/partners at the Thompson Center in MO. This may be a potential study for pregnant moms who aren't eligible for IBIS. The study looks at early development through cry recordings and other developmental factors. The study can be done remotely, and any infant who has a family member with autism can participant. They need babies prior to about 4 weeks, so consider passing along this flier to any families who might want to participate in research where IBIS is not an option.
