Right now, I?m dividing values by 0 to generate NaNs, but I'm sure something more direct exists. The reason is that I have scans for which certain parts of the brain were unfortunately not covered, and this coverage varies slightly across patients. Luckily, the signal is reliably very close to 0 ONLY for areas that weren't scanned. I want these uncovered areas to be left out of RMINC analyses, so I figured setting them as NaN does the trick. If anyone can suggest a better or more expedient method for this zero-masking, please let me know.
