[MINC-users] Scaling troubles solved

Actually, I realized that the problem was probably related to the fact 
that the library and application were linked by different linkers.  
Which shouldn't really cause a problem, but when I changed to the same 
linker for both, it worked.  Although I didn't realize that at first.
