Les objectifs de ce programme sont :</p>
<ol>
<li>Offrir une précieuse (<strong>rémunérée !</strong>) expérience de mentorat aux étudiant.e.s et postdoctorant.e.s du RBIQ en encadrant les étudiant.e.s de niveau collégial</li>
<li>Recruter la prochaine génération de scientifiques en accueillant des cégepien.ne.s dans des laboratoires de bio-imagerie et en les exposant à la recherche</li>
</ol>
<p style="margin:10px 0px;padding:0px;color:rgb(117,117,117);font-family:Helvetica;font-size:16px;line-height:150%;text-align:left">Les candidat.e.s devront fournir une brève description d’un projet de recherche que les stagiaires devront réaliser. Le projet devrait être réalisable pour les cégepien.ne.s pendant la période de stage, en mettant l’accent sur l’éducation plutôt que sur l’aide à la recherche. Les stagiaires doivent participer activement au projet dès la première semaine du stage. <strong>Les candidat.e.s retenu.e.s recevront une bourse de mentorat de 1 500 $</strong> en reconnaissance du temps et des efforts qu’il faut pour encadrer les étudiant.e.s de niveau collégial qui ont peu ou pas d’expérience en recherche en bio-imagerie.<br>

En tant que mentor, vous accueillerez deux étudiant.e.s du Collège Dawson pendant 10 semaines pendant l’été (de juin à août).</p>

<li>Obtenir l’approbation de votre superviseur.e de recherche pour accueillir deux étudiant.e.s du Collège Dawson dans le laboratoire</li>

<p style="margin:10px 0px;padding:0px;color:rgb(117,117,117);font-family:Helvetica;font-size:16px;line-height:150%;text-align:left">Les mentors devront avoir au moins deux réunions hebdomadaires avec les stagiaires et consacrer un total de 40 à 50 heures au mentorat pendant le programme de 10 semaines. On s’attend à ce que les stagiaires consacrent de 20 à 30 heures par semaine à leur projet, mais ils ne passeront pas nécessairement tout ce temps avec le mentor. Les mentors doivent assister aux présentations finales de leurs stagiaires au Collège Dawson.</p>

Vous serez ensuite jumelé.e à deux étudiant.e.s du collège (deux étudiants seront désignés pour travailler sur chaque projet) et vous recevrez leurs coordonnées pour planifier le début de leur stage.</p>
