[BIC-announce] Solo Art Show for a good cause: Autism Awareness Month

Dear all,

I would like to invite you to my next solo show that will open on Saturday, April 1st at 3 pm in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu: Action-Art-Actuel, 191, rue Richelieu – Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec  J3B 6X7<https://www.google.ca/maps/place/191+Rue+Richelieu,+Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu,+QC+J3B+6X7/@45.3059061,-73.2529599,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x4cc9a25056588a97:0x7d4c2d96b233c78a!8m2!3d45.3059023!4d-73.2507659> (a short 30 minute-drive from Montreal).

I created all the pieces to mark the Autism Awareness Month, and half of the profits will be used to finance art programs for autistic children attending the schools on the south shore.

Josefina Maranzano was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she completed her medical degree and worked for several years as an MD in Internal Medicine and Radiology. Dr. Maranzano immigrated to Quebec in 2004, where she has been working in brain imaging medical research for more than ten years. Currently, she is conducting her PhD studies under the supervision of Dr. Sridar Narayanan, specializing in MS cortical lesions at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital. It was here in Quebec that Dr. Maranzano developed a passion for the visual arts and has become an accomplished artist. She has participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Montreal and other cities in Quebec.
