Research Analyst I

Vanderbilt Computational Memory lab (Sean Polyn, PI)



The Computational Memory Lab at Vanderbilt University is looking for a full-time Research Analyst I, to assist in the study of the neural foundations of human memory.  The primary function of this position is to help design, program, and run experimental studies of human memory using a Python-based Experiment Programming Library on Mac OS X platforms, and to analyze data from these studies using MATLAB.  These experiments will be carried out using fMRI and scalp EEG recordings, and the person in this position is also responsible for recording and collecting the fMRI and scalp EEG data during testing sessions.  Assistance with administrative tasks, such as grant preparation and basic maintenance of the lab website will also be involved.  Strong computer skills (Mac and Unix), and experience with programming is preferred.  A Bachelor's degree is required.
This position starts August 1, 2013 or thereabouts.
