Fixed Term three years from date of appointment

A post-doctoral appointment is available for up to 3 years in the Oxford Centre for Functional
Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Brain (FMRIB) at the University of Oxford. This project
involves development of novel techniques for combining diffusion and susceptibility imaging
of white matter, with particular interest in identifying markers of tissue microstructure. The
post would be suited to someone with a PhD in physics, engineering or a related discipline.
Essential skills include  expertise in  MRI physics and experience with MRI  markers of
diffusion and/or susceptibility. The ideal candidate would have previously developed pulse
sequences for Siemens clinical platforms, including high-field (7T) MRI human scanners,
experience with biophysical modeling and knowledge of white matter microstructure.
