Dear Colleagues,

 

You are invited to attend "Epilepsy at the Cutting Edge:  A symposium to
honour Fred and Eva Andermann" on October 23-25, 2008 at the Montreal
Neurological Institute. The symposium brings together prominent speakers
from around the world to present current research findings in epilepsy
and to mark the Andermanns' important contributions to the field.  The
program is attached here or can be viewed at

Current faculty, students and staff of the Montreal Neurological
Institute and Hospital and McGill University may attend the symposium
free of charge but are asked to register by October 1 at
http://apps.mni.mcgill.ca/andermann/andermann_reg.php    If you do not
register, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to attend the
symposium. The symposium fee will be waived when you designate your
institutional affiliation on the registration form.  


You are invited to purchase a ticket to the symposium banquet on Friday,
October 24 at the beautiful Mount Stephen Club.  This festive event will
start with a cocktail reception and include a 3 course dinner, champagne
toast and wine service for $120, plus tax.  Banquet space is limited so
